Dereham Town will look to get the New Year off to a winning start when they make the short trip to Soham Town Rangers.

Both teams were left kicking their heels on Saturday as waterlogged pitches forced a number of postponements – Dereham's Bostik Premier home game with Canvey and Soham's at Brentwood fell foul of the weather.

The Magpies are fourth in the table, with today's hosts 15th after two defeats in a row.

Wisbech Town were also out of action as a waterlogged pitch put paid to their UCL Premier home game against Cogenhoe United. The Fenmen are not back in action until Saturday, when they entertain Bromsgrove Sporting in the FA Vase.

Six games in the Thurlow Nunn Premier League managed to go ahead, but Kirkley & Pakefield's trip to Walsham-le-Willows was postponed. In the First Division, The Walks was waterlogged, meaning King's Lynn Reserves' match against Halstead was off as was Diss's game at Newmarket.
