Dereham will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they entertain Cheshunt, writes Rene Kendal.

The Magpies' seven-game unbeaten league run was ended on Tuesday night at Phoenix Sports when an 89th-minute goal saw the hosts win 3-2. Strikes from Lewis Butcher and Lewis Wallace had twice put Town in front in the first half.

Manager Matt Henman said: 'On Tuesday we started really well but individual errors cost us. We conceded two really poor goals and didn't compete in the second half. We need to cut out these isolated errors. Throughout games we have sections that we are good and poor in. I want us to be more consistent and knit it all together.'

Dereham – who welcome Dan Morphew and Payton Swatman back into their squad – are currently eighth in Ryman League North, two places higher than their opponents today but from two games more.

Henman added: 'We need to recreate how we played in the first half against Phoenix and sustain it through the second.'
