Dereham Town's FA Cup run is over as they let a half-time lead slip against Boston Town.
It looked to be so different when Danny Beaumont fired the Magpies into the lead with a fine free-kick to add to his goals against Yaxley and Corby Town in previous rounds.
Dereham came close again with Rhys Logan's ball from the right being deflected just wide.
Boston's Fraser Bayliss fired well wide from 20 yards before Ashley Jarvis steered Logan's cross wide at the other end in the 25th minute.
As Dereham pressed again Beaumont fed Logan who cut inside before hitting a low drive that forced James Lambley to save at full stretch.
Boston came within inches of finding the equaliser in the 35th minute when skipper Jason Field's thunderous 30 yard drive clipped the top of home keeper Elliot Pride's bar.
Dereham replied with Jarvis forcing Lambley to save his shot on the turn after good play from Owen Murphy.
The Magpies had a good chance to extend their lead shortly before the break but Murphy headed Jarvis's right flank cross wide from close range.
Boston's Jamie Epton had a header cleared off the line by Sam Garner from Parker's corner as the visitors pressed after the restart.
Jake Anema then invited Logan to run at Simon Ashton and the lively wide man had a close range effort blocked.
The home side created another good opportunity with Jarvis teeing Beaumont up on the edge of the box but the striker fired wide.
As the Magpies' pressure continued Anema guided Beaumont's corner just over the top before Logan fired over from an acute angle.
Dereham were made to pay for their missed chances as Boston equalised against the run of play in the 70th minute with a fortunate goal.
Ben Davison's 25 yard drive took a deflection that wrong-footed Pride and nettled in the net. Three minutes later the visitors were in front when Simon Ashton headed home a cross from the right.
Home keeper Pride made a fine close range save to deny Jake Bayliss as the visitors threatened again. In the 85th minute home skipper Jay Eastoe- Smith's long range shot forced Lambley to save. Steve Taylor's ball from the byline then sped across the Boston area begging for a finish.
Pride made an excellent save in a one-on-one with Britten in added time. Boston played out time well to get their name in the hat for the next round.
