Eastern Counties Premier Division trio Dereham, Wisbech and Diss will have to do it the hard way after all landing away ties in the FA Vase second round next month.
Diss beat Hullbridge Sports 2-0 on the road at the weekend but must travel again after being drawn at Ampthill Town. The Bedfordshire-based side currently play their league football in the Spartan South Midlands League, Premier Division. The Tangerines, famously former winners of the national competition, have also previously beaten Halstead 3-1 in this year's run.
Dereham despatched Stewart & Lloyds for the second time in knockout football this season with a 4-1 Aldiss Park success on Saturday earning Matty Henman's Magpies' a tie at Haverhill Sports Association. Haverhill edged past Ipswich Wanderers 3-2 in their weekend FA Vase tie and lie fifth in the Essex and Suffolk Border League standings.
Dereham's Thurlow Nunn Premier Division title rivals, Wisbech, enter the competition at this stage with a derby tie at fellow United Counties League table toppers St Ives Town. The unbeaten Cambridgeshire side have a decent recent pedigree in cup football after hammering King's Lynn Town 4-1 last season to lift the UCL KO Cup.
All FA Vase ties to be played on Saturday, November 17.
