Crusaders kept the pressure on neighbours Wymondham in Eastern Counties One by winning at lowly Swaffham.

They moved to within a point of their second-placed rivals as they touched down four times against a side who had proved a tough nut to crack at Tuttles Lane the previous week.

Henry Joy led the way for Crusaders with two tries while Alex Widdrington and Greg Thurston also went over.

Leaders Thetford bounced back from their surprise defeat at Woodbridge in emphatic style when they hammered Bury St Edmunds III 81-19.

North Walsham Raiders beat visitors Norwich Union 27-24 in Two North. They took the lead from the final play when young replacement Michael Mulhall crossed under the bar and Henry Hunt converted. Vilikesa Vurewa and Adam Dye also touched down while there was a penalty try. Simon Pitcher, Ben Bond-Webster and Michael Shucksmith were Union's try scorers.
