County Arts close the gap in Norfolk CIBA County Bowls League title race
County Arts A have put themselves into contention for the Norfolk CIBA County League title after beating Norfolk BC A 90-67. They won on all four rinks, Peter Wilkinson's top- scoring 31-8.
Acle A remain top after winning 79-70 at Gallow A, Ian Wones' rink winning 29-16. Diss A remain firmly rooted at the bottom after they lost 103-57 at Lynnsport A, John Cason's rink for the home team winning 38-9.
Despite John Ottaway's rink winning 32-11, Wymondham A lost 88-79 at home to Lakeside A.
Pentney A moved to the top of Division Two following a 76-all draw at home to Browston A.
In Division Three, Acle C beat Old Hall 86-60 while Dereham A won 92-65 at Browston B.
There is no change at the top of Division Four with all the top three teams winning. Leaders North Walsham won 81-75 at Diss B while second-placed Pinewood Park B had a convincing 117-49 win at home to Pentney B with Geoff Gravenor's men romping home by a massive 43-5.
Norfolk BC C remain third after beating Wymondham C at home 78-72. Great Yarmouth A moved out of the bottom two after beating County Arts C 95-65.

Division Five leaders Gallow B won 87-69 at third placed Shotford B while Roundwood B beat Great Yarmouth B 74-58.
