I've said it before and I'll say it again. We've got the best fans in non-league football – and this weekend proved it once more.

The support we get at home for a Step Five club is phenomenal, but look at how many fans travelled to Holbeach on Monday. It was incredible. We're one of the best clubs in non-league in terms of our facilities, but the fans are just 10 out of 10.

They're entitled to their opinions in my eyes, but one thing you can never question is their support. They get behind the team and the atmosphere when we scored our late winner at The Walks on Saturday (against Peterborough Northern Star) was as good as any I've experienced.

To then take 500 plus away on Monday, and make it feel like a home game, was such a boost. They're our 12th man. You almost have to pinch yourself when you see that level of support and it reminds you how much this club means to people.

Since I wrote my last column we've won three games (S&L Corby 5-0 last Tuesday, PNS 2-1 on Saturday and Holbeach United 2-0 on Monday) so I must pay tribute to the lads, even if I can't name everyone individually.

Jordan Yong is a young lad, but his athleticism is unbelievable. With him and Ash Deeney we have the two quickest full-backs in the league and they offer such an outlet. Jordan knows he should score more so it was brilliant that he bagged a screamer last Tuesday.

We knew Saturday would be tough against PNS and although we missed chances I always honestly believed we'd score – especially when Robbie Harris came on.

He's done it week in, week out, year after year. He's scored a hatful again, even though he's had less minutes than he would have liked this season, but you have to credit Jack Defty and Jason Turner for keeping him out of the team.

Robbie's a good lad, never moans, and came on and did the business for us. The celebrations were wild, but it shows just how much it means to the lads. Credit goes to the gaffer (Gary Setchell) too – he tweaked things and got it right again.

Finally I want to praise my centre-back partner Stuart Wall. He doesn't say much – compared to me especially, but then neither do most people – but what a player he has been for us. He's a role model. He's always so calm, but strong. I call him Mr Reliable.

We're two very different defenders, but we're forming a good partnership. He just gets on with his business. He's got all the attributes to go further – hopefully with Lynn – as he's a top centre-half. It's a privilege to play with him and he's made me a better player.

We've worked hard this Easter as a group, but Setch, Neil (Fryatt), Ross (McNeil) and the chairman (Buster Chapman) have done everything they can to help us through it.

We were at the hospital on Friday giving away Easter eggs, played Saturday, were in Sunday recovering and preparing, and played again Monday. But nobody moaned because we've got a league to win.

They're the sacrifices you make when you commit to a football club. You come in if they say you come in and you have a day off when they tell you. The gaffer made it absolutely clear it was a massive weekend and we've picked up six points so we're buzzing.

Long Buckby drawing on Monday made it ever better, but we've still got a job to do. It's not over till it's over and I've got that UCL trophy in my hands.

I didn't play against Buckby, but you have to credit them for their run – and ours as we haven't lost in the league since they beat us at The Walks. We owe them one and if we win the title on the day it would be the icing on the cake.
