Norwich goalkeeper Joe Lewis has been handed a trial at Bury - with a view to a loan move.
Bury manager Chris Casper is on the lookout for a new recruit between the posts with Kasper Schmeichel set to leave Gigg Lane.
The Manchester City youngster will play his final game for the Shakers in their away trip to Swindon on November 25, and Casper is low on alternative options as first-choice stopper Alan Fettis remains sidelined with a broken arm.
The 19-year-old Lewis was handed his Bury chance in yesterday's 5-3 defeat to Blackpool which was played at Radclifffe Borough.
