England scrum-half Ben Youngs has been nominated for the RBS Six Nations player of the championship award.

The Norfolk-born 25-year-old scored two tries as England beat France 55-35 at Twickenham on Saturday but lost out on the title to Ireland on points difference.

England team-mates Jonathan Joseph and George Ford are also nominated, as are Ireland's Conor Murray, Paul O'Connell and Robbie Henshaw, Wales' Dan Biggar and Alun-Wyn Jones, Italy captain Sergio Parisse and Scotland's Stuart Hogg and Jonny Gray.
