Attacking talent Danny Beaumont will be plying his trade at Step Four again next season.

The former Dereham Town and King's Lynn Town forward is leaving Step Five Wisbech Town to move back up a tier with Ryman North Wroxham. Beamount's arrival adds further riches to Stewart Larter's offensive options while adding some much needed higher-level experience to the Yachtsmen's squad.

Wisbech boss Brett Whaley said: 'It is a shame to lose another player from last year's squad. It's always going to be hard to retain players who are offered the chance to play at a higher level.'

Beamount joined the Fenmen last summer notching an impressive 25 goals in 46 matches. The pacy player, who is comfortable operating as a winger or main striker, made his name with Dereham before joining Lynn in 2011. After two seasons at The Walks he rejoined the Magpies, who also play in Ryman North, for a year before moving to Wisbech.

Wroxham also announced yesterday that they had signed Michael Sommerfield and Adam Smith from their same-league rivals Dereham.
