The battle to avoid relegation from the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division will be decided on the final day of the season.
Swaffham lost 3-1 at home to Saffron Walden last night, leaving the Pedlars with a two-point cushion. With Whitton already down, Fakenham and Thetford are on 33 points and Swaffham on 35.
On Saturday the Pedlars go to eight-placed Hadleigh, Thetford are at high-flying Felixstowe and Fakenham travel to bottom-half side Walsham le Willows.
Elsewhere, Godmanchester Rovers sealed second place with a 7-0 thrashing of Kirkley & Pakefield, who will finish in fifth place.
