Less than a week after shocking the racing world by announcing his retirement at the end of the season, 19-times champion jockey AP McCoy graces Fakenham on Friday afternoon for four rides on the seven-race card.

McCoy, on course for a 20th consecutive jump jockey's crown, will make what could be his final appearances at the course and if so, looks set to go out with at least one winner.

In the last five seasons McCoy has a 29% strike-rate at Fakenham.

Fakenham chief executive and clerk of the course, David Hunter said: 'AP has always been a great supporter of Fakenham and we are delighted to welcome him. He is an outstanding ambassador for our sport and is both massively liked and respected. We're thrilled that all of us here will be able to enjoy watching him ride at the course before he takes his well-earned retirement at the end of the season.'
