An error at Riches, just after Andrew Evans had climbed aboard, cost him and co-driver Christian England victory in the opening LMP3 Cup race with the pair having to overcome a penalty for a short pit stop in race two to claim a narrow victory.

Meanwhile Kenninghall's Thomas Randle enhanced his growing reputation with fastest lap in the car he co-drives with Mike Newbould as Colin Noble/Alastair McCaig to claim the race one spoils while, after early problems, Randel again took fastest lap in race two after a late charge.

The opening GT Cup race was cut short after an incident befell the Jeff Wyatt/Geoff Steel BMW M3 leaving Graham Davidson the winner of the race and with a pair of second places in the remaining races almost ensured he wrapped up the title with his potent McLaren MP4 12C.

Race two went the way of Matt Mandleson and Mike Brown, who snatched the lead away from Davidson after an early safety car, while in the third encounter the Nigel Hudson/Adam Wilcox pairing proved too strong.

Brockdish racer Bonham Grimes won his class in the opening race with his fifth-placed Ferrari 458 and improved to take the final podium position in race two which he repeated in race three alongside James Little.

'I'm absolutely thrilled,' said Grimes after race two.

Channel 4's Grand Prix commentator Ben Edwards demonstrated his skills behind the wheel of a racing car by taking a close victory in the second of the Super Series FF1600 races.

In the opening encounter the Wortham resident found Ross Martin's speed was too great as he ended up a distant second.

Consistence has allowed Jacopo Sabastiani to lead the F3 Cup points table but had failed to take victory which he put right in the opening race and then went on to complete a hat-trick of wins at the Norfolk venue.

Andrew Krimpton eased to a pair of MSVR Allcomers victories on the Saturday while Keith Mizen was unable to repeat his opening second place in race two. Mizen eased to victory in Sunday's opening race from McDonald who got his revenge later in the day.
