Bradenham A's Blake Whyte has been named as the Knights Norfolk League player of the month for June. Australian Blake took 13 wickets for 57 runs in four completed matches in Division Six and also scored 116 runs to help his side move to the top of the table.

Australian Blake took 13 wickets for 57 runs in four completed matches in Division Six and also scored 116 runs to help his side move to the top of the table. Tim Knight , founder of Knights Sporting Auctions, said: "For a young man to make such a valuable contribution to his team's success in such miserable weather conditions has to be commended." Blake, who is spending the summer in this country visiting relatives, said: "It has been a pleasure playing for Bradenham as I have been made very welcome at the club and this award reflects on all the team and how well we have played." Other nominations included: Kevin Bacon, Aldborough - 183 runs and four wickets; Chris Anderson, Hales A - scores of 61 not out and 83; and Damien Ryan, Hemsby - 15 wickets, including nine for 32 in one game.
