Acle bowls star Daniel Seabourne is back on international duty later this month when he competes in the Junior U25 International Series at Newport Indoor Bowls Club in Wales.

This will be the 20-year-old's third consecutive year of appearing for England and hopes to follow on the success of last year when they lifted the title on home soil in Bristol.

The England team will start off the defence of their title with their match against Ireland on Saturday, February 18, followed up in the afternoon with a contest against the host nation Wales.

All being well their final game on the Sunday morning against auld enemy Scotland could well decide who carries off the title of Junior International series winners for 2017.

This follows on from what has been a very busy period for Seabourne, known in the circuit as 'Spike', after he started a job as Business/Sales apprentice at Potters Leisure Resort in Hopton.
