It was a busy weekend at Horning Sailing Club, with 16 ladies taking part in a taster session on Saturday in beautiful sunshine and light winds.

The following day, in complete contrast to the previous week, saw very little wind.

Combined with scorching sunshine, it was a warm and slow day's sailing. With the breeze up and down during the morning, Hoveton Little Broad went from resembling a millpond to rippled with a pleasant breeze, before dropping again.

Roger Hannant, crewed by wife Cari, had a successful day's racing in his Yeoman, with four first places, winning every Yeoman race. It was a similarly good day for HSC's growing Splash fleet in the dinghies, with Ellie Edwards winning the two morning races in her Splash, Jack Barnham the two afternoon races in his. Ron Jackson took two wins in his YBOD, with Alastair Fields winning the other, whilst Robert Hancock won the two morning Reedling races.
