King’s Lynn Town kicked off their pre-season with a 4-0 win away to Deeping Rangers.
Ethan Lack and a triallist gave Lynn a 2-0 half-time lead before new signings Ross Crane and Josh Hmami doubled the scoreline after the break.
“A good workout,” Lynn boss Adam Lakeland told the club’s official channels.
“It’s a really good set-up at Deeping, a good pitch, and I think ultimately all you really want in pre-season is to get minutes into your players and come through unscathed, and bar Cameron Forde-Brown having a little bit of a cut on his ankle, we managed to do that.
“I thought we played some really food football in both halves, and scored some good goals. It was a good workout and I thought everybody acquitted themselves incredibly well.”
First half team: Boyes, Ronan, Johnson, Isaacson, Lack, Forde-Brown, Falcao, Cybulski, Trialist A, Trialist B, Trialist C.
Second-half team: Jones, Taylor, Wilson, McFadden, Sass, McCammon, Hughes, Hmami, Ronan, Margetts, Crane.
Lynn’s next pre-season game is at Wroxham on Tuesday evening, kick-off 7.30pm.
