Norwich City fans have been divided by the Canaries' new home kit, with some delighted and others dismayed by the stripped-back design.
The club released the stripΒ this evening ahead of the start of their pre-season campaign next week, alongside all three of their goalkeeper shirts.
The home kit features a subtle chequered yellow pattern alongside subtle green details, while the 'keeper versions include a much bolder pattern alongside blocked-out shoulders.
Sections of the fan base praised the simplicity of Joma's latest effort, their fourth for Norwich, but many were underwhelmed.

So much better than last seasonβs kitβ¦ well done Nodge ππΌππΌππΌ #NCFC https://t.co/lnBQkR4uAB

I actually quite like the simplicity of it. #ncfc https://t.co/4SCy7VEG0K

I'm really disappointed with this one. Really, really let down. Far too little green, unimaginative chequered pattern, and the sponsor is okay but a step down from Lotus.
What a shame. Definitely an end-of-season bargain bin buy for me #OTBC #NCFC https://t.co/NITddzurWU pic.twitter.com/KaYI5QWeaK
Big fan.

Lasts seasons was an abomination.
This is simple and classy π #ncfc https://t.co/A05v8SU5QA
Itβs better than last seasons, and it appears to just be last seasons but without the horizontal stripes. Bit disappointed if Iβm honest. #ncfc https://t.co/64j0V4RQXy

It's a bit... meh. Don't think the designers did much overtime, about as basic as it gets. Need to see it up close to see the chequered flag pattern #ncfc https://t.co/8uH51k5OdU

Might be the most basic shirt of all time, not worth all that hype π€£

Not awful but underwhelming for sure.#NCFC https://t.co/VOxsntFc10

Plain, but alot better than last years atrocious home kit, i'll wait to see the away and 3rd before buying imo #ncfc https://t.co/CmBjYvfjiX

Β£60 for a shirt is ridiculous, no matter how nice it is, but even more so in the current economic climate. Over Β£100 for full kit. Β£45 for kids. You can do better than this @NorwichCityFC #ncfc ππ

#ncfc as an old canary I have to say I have strong views on what constitutes a Norwich City kit - this reminds me of the 1971/72 kit and which I had as a young kid β¦. I therefore very much approve of this β¦. Very much β¦OTBC @Oliver_Cockram https://t.co/PAEExA9gnT

Just seen the new kits. Home kit is fine, but a yawn fest. Better than last seasons though. Keeper kits are great, nice twist on the classic, a bit of something to them. #ncfc

Personally, itβs very boring, poor shirt sponsor and unimaginative.

Iβll buy it, obvs.
Do I like it, no.#otbc #ncfc
