King’s Lynn Town have announced their retained list for next season – with three senior figures already signing new deals.

Goalkeeper Paul Jones, skipper Josh Coulson and fellow defender Kyle Callan-McFadden have agreed new contracts, but Jordan Ponticelli will not be offered a new deal and will be leaving The Walks, along with Gabriel Rogers and Ismael Fatadjo.

Ponticelli was among the club’s higher earners, but injury restricted him to just 13 National League North starts in 2023-24.

Midfielder Cameron Hargreaves, one of the standout performers during a difficult season, is in talks over a new deal.

Skipper Coulson, 35, joined Lynn two years ago having arrived on loan from Southend.

"I'm really happy to have signed an extension,” he said. “Really excited to see what next season has in store. Since the gaffer and Walks (assistant, Sam Walker) have come in they have been amazing with me, bringing me on to the staff side of things and I’ve really enjoyed it.

“I’m sure you all can see what they are trying to do and I really want to be part of that. I also have a massive soft spot for this football club and I want to do and give all I have for it."

Widely experienced keeper Jones, 37, was a near ever-present during the season.

"I am delighted to have signed a contract for the upcoming season,” he said. “It's an honour to continue my journey with a club that has shown tremendous faith in my abilities. I am committed to contributing my best on the pitch and would like to thank the chairman and management team for their belief in me.

“I'm excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and am eager to make next season one of the most memorable ones."

Callan-McFadden added: "I am absolutely delighted to have signed a new deal. Can’t wait to get a full season under the gaffer and Walks. Time to put last season's nightmare to bed and get ready to properly compete next season."
