King's Lynn Town have brought in midfielder Kobe Chong and sent out-of-favour left back Tom Clifford out on loan.

Chong, 22, joins the Linnets from Barwell, having been at Solihull, Banbury, Peterborough U21s, Telford United and Cagliari’s youth section in Italy.

He will go straight out on loan to Kettering Town for the remainder of the season, as well as training with the Linnets.

Manager Adam Lakeland said: “Kobe is a player with good potential who has been doing well at Barwell this season and has experience of the National League North from his time at Telford.

"He will undoubtedly continue to develop now that he is back in a full-time training model and good environment, which will be supported by his loan to Kettering for the remainder of the season, where he can keep on playing regular football.”

Chong added: “I’m really happy to be here, to be joining a club of this size is something I have been determined to do. I’m excited to start working under the gaffer, meeting the supporters and continuing by journey in football.”

Clifford, 25, has joined National League South Dartford on loan for a month, having started just 13 league games for Lynn this season.
