Norwich City are searching for capital gains as they travel to QPR looking to continue their improved Championship form.

After an impressive 2-1 victory over Coventry at Carrow Road last weekend, Norwich sit a point within the play-off places - they travel to Loftus Road today hoping to keep the pressure on Hull and West Brom.

Recent results against Southampton, Hull, West Brom and Coventry have injected some much-needed optimism into their campaign and has helped to ease the pressure on head coach David Wagner.

Norwich travel to relegation-threatened QPR, hoping to record successive Championship victories for only the second time in 2024 whilst ending a run of three defeats in four matches on their travels.

The Canaries welcome Jonathan Rowe and Danny Batth back to the fold after missing last weekend's victory over the Sky Blues through injury. The winger has been nursing a broken hand whilst the experienced defender sustained a hamstring injury in their FA Cup third-round replay victory over Bristol Rovers.

Defender Shane Duffy will be absent due to a calf injury, with captain Grant Hanley in line to make his second Championship start since returning from a long lay-off with an Achilles issue.

QPR are showing signs of improvement under Marti Cifuentes, who succeeded Gareth Ainsworth in October, and have taken seven points in the last three matches, four of which came at home.

January additions, including ex-Norwich loanee Isaac Hayden, have helped renewed optimism as they push for survival. The Rs have struggled for goals this term - only Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday have scored fewer goals this season.

Norwich have recorded two 1-0 wins over QPR this season in both League Cup and the Championship, even though Cifuentes side dominated large parts of the clash at Carrow Road.

This has been a largely positive fixture for City in recent years, having lost just twice in their last 18 league meetings against QPR.
