King's Lynn Town boss Adam Lakeland has made a third player raid on Fleetwood Town.

Lakeland has agreed a loan deal until the end of the season for forward Owen Devonport.

Devonport was in Accrington Stanley's first-team set-up, before joining Fleetwood Town on Thursday and being made available for loan.

Lakeland said: “The opportunity to bring Owen into the club has happened rather quickly and I’m really pleased to have him with us.

"He’s a big, imposing figure on the pitch who is good in the air, holds the ball up, looks to bring others into play and has a competitive nature to his play.

"I’ve made no secret that we’ve needed to add further options in the final third of the pitch and together with the addition of Harley (Curtis) this week, believe that we’ve brought in two lads with different qualities, who are hungry to do well in their time with us.”

Lakeland has already signed George Morrison and Billy Jones from Fleetwood, although Jones has returned to his parent club because of a hamstring problem and is unlikely to return.
