Young Norwich City striker Kenny Coker is set for an assessment ahead of a potential Nigeria U20 World Cup call-up, according to reports.

The 19-year-old has received an invite for a training camp for foreign-based Nigeran internationals in Abuja ahead of a potential call-up for the Super Eagles.

All Nigeria Soccer are suggesting that the Canaries youngster will once again train with Ladan Bosso's side ahead of the coach naming his squad for the U20 World Cup, which will take place between May and June in Indonesia.

Coker trained with the side prior to their African Cup of Nations campaign that saw them move deep into the tournament, culminating with a successful third-placed play-off where they thrashed Tunisia 4-0.

Although he didn't make the squad on that occasion, the report states that Basso and his coaching team are keen to run the rule over the striker ahead of the tournament.

Coker joined City in July 2021 from Southend United and has made 15 appearances for Alan Neilson's under-21s in the Premier League 2 Division 2 this season.
