M&A PARTNERS WOMEN'S LEAGUE: Broadland remained in touch at the top of the Premier Division after a 3-0 victory at home against Evergreens.

The hosts had an early escape when Lauren Halliwell saved a shot and Danni Pointer swept the ball clear from Evergreens' Harriett Segasby.

Broadland soon took charge and after Helen Brockington's goalbound shot was stopped on the line by an Evergreens foot, skipper Rachel Aldous stepped up to score the resulting penalty.

Brockington's shot from the edge of the circle left the Evergreens keeper flatfooted to make it 2-0 and Brockington was instrumental in the third goal after the break, her run and cross being swept into the net by Kelly Duthie.

Thetford could only field nine players at Beccles and fell behind early on, but managed to avoid conceding again in the first half. Beccles' numerical advantage told in the second period as they ran out 3-0 winners.

Sheringham and Holt Panthers maintained their perfect record with a 2-0 win at Lowestoft Railway.

Panthers seized the advantage late in an end-to-end first half when a penalty corner was expertly put away by Becky Hart and the visitors doubled their advantage after the break through Gemma Rolfe.

In Division One, Broadland II were unable to challenge top of the table Harleston Magpies IV, who eased to a 4-0 victory.

Laura Schultheiss opened the scoring with a sweet reverse stick shot and she doubled the lead in the second half following a short corner.

Roo Barker tapped in the third and Treacle Snelling scrambled home to make it four.

Reepham claimed their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory at Yarmouth II.

Katie Lake put the visitors in front in the second half and then latched on to a perfect ball from Summers to complete the scoring.

Norwich City III secured a 4-1 win against bottom side Pelicans III.

Maddie Taylor fired City in front from the top of the D, followed shortly afterwards by an excellent deflection from Theresa McInally.

McInally went on to complete her hat-trick as City won comfortably.

Norwich Dragons III were edged out by a single goal against high-flying Pelicans II.

After a goalless first half, Pelicans went ahead after the break and although Dragons, with Flora Gregorie their player of the match, pressed forward, they were unable to find an equaliser.

Diss' 4-2 success against Evergreens II left them level on points at the top of Division Two with Dereham IV. Top scorer Toni Glover gave Diss the lead but when they failed to clear their lines, Evergreens equalised.

Gaby Rolingson restored the advantage for Diss and Sarah Woods opened her account for the season to make it 3-1. Evergreens replied before half-time, but Woods made sure of the points with her second of the match after the break.

In Division Three, Norwich City's fourth and fifth teams shared 10 goals, with the fourths winning 6-4.

Olivia Greenway hit a hat-trick for the fifths and their other goal came from Emily Greenway, but strikes from Cat McIver (2), Rachael McCarney, Saskia Delacave, Emma Wood and Emily Brown won it for the fourths.
