King's Lynn Town's long spell without a United Counties League game has stretched to more than a month with the postponement of tonight's home fixture against Peterborough Northern Star due to a frozen pitch.

The Linnets have not seen any league action since November 20, when they drew 2-2 at St Ives, and they now have to wait until next Monday, when they are due to travel to Holbeach, for their next scheduled action.

Their only game in that period came in the Norfolk Senior Cup, with a mixture of first teamers and reserves winning 5-1 at Yarmouth last Tuesday to earn a trip to either Wroxham or Cromer in the quarter-finals of the competition.

• Wroxham's much postponed tie was due to be played at Trafford Park tonight but was called off yesterday and will now be played on January 8, weather permitting.

• Also off tonight is Lowestoft's Championship Manager's Cup tie at Cheshunt.
