Teachers and school support staff are being urged to attend an event this month and discover how pupils can get involved in Olympic-related activities.

The free 2012 Cultural Offer twilight event will be held at Norwich Castle Museum on Tuesday, October 18 from 2pm to 5pm.

Some of the opportunities on show will include the London 2012 education team, providing support for schools to gain London 2012 Get Set Network status, Norfolk County Council's children and young people's 2012 art competition launch, Dr Ken Farquar from the Inspirational Science Theatre with 'Dr Ken's Olympic Dream' and the Grassroots Theatre Company and the One World programme.

A virtual Olympic Stadium will also be on show. For further details and to book a place contact Anna McCarthy, creative projects officer for children's services at Norfolk County Council, on 01603 638099.
