Lakenham Hewett have now won eight of their nine matches this season and have their eyes firmly set on winning the league and being promoted to Woodfordes Merit 1.
Lakenham hosted Lowestoft & Yarmouth II and emerged with a hard-fought 24-12 victory.
The home team scored first with a move that saw the backs, including debutant David Younie, passing along the line with Ed Crew scoring his 11th try of the season. L&Y equalised before the break to make it 5-5.
In the second half Lakenham upped their game and scored further tries through James Parker, Aaron King and Dan Want, with James Parker converting two.
