Hales and Loddon Cricket Club scooped 600 in the Yarmouth Stadium Trap Challenge on Saturday.
The club collected 100 in making the final, and beat five other sport clubs to scoop the 500 prize with their selected trap winning four out of six races.
The club also sold 60 tickets to go with the 46 earlier, to give a total of 1,030 towards club funds.
There was praise for Phil Squire and Kirsty Lovick, who drove ticket sales, and also Yarmouth Stadium for this initiative, which helps sporting clubs who support their venue.
There were good nights individually, but for the club to do so well was amazing – and timely, with the season set to start in just under 11 weeks.
