Robin Maris of Sheringham and Mike Gaskell of Wensum Valley teamed up to win the latest Society of Norfolk Golf Captains' competition.
The Society played their annual captain's day at Fakenham. Randy Reynolds is the Society captain for 2012.
Fakenham presented an excellent golf course for 56 members to enjoy. Captain's day is traditionaly a draw for hidden partners and Maris and Gaskell won the event with 76 points, with Gaskell's 38 points the best individual score of the day.
In second place with 69 points were Bob Pritchard (Wensum Valley) and John Aspland (Royal Norwich) while in third place with 67 points were David Chapman (Eaton) and Philip Hewitt (Wensum Valley).
