Casey Parker has returned home from the prestigious CIC** European Championships, which took place at the weekend in Laintal, Austria.
The Great Britain team claimed silver, with Essex rider Caroline Smith making up one sixth of the team.
Competing as an individual, Casey started off in great form with a respectable 56.1 in the dressage on Vivien and Bob Jupp's horse Chataigne Filice. Unfortunately a lack of breaks resulted in a few errors on the cross-country course with Casey describing Chataigne as 'great but a little too strong which caused issues.'
Casey finished a very respectable 55th and described the experience as 'amazing with so much learnt,' and said her ride was 'such a star'.
