Hockwold reached the West Norfolk League Division One summit again with an eight-wicket win against Sandringham.

David Spencer took 4-15 and Roy Bland 3-25 to leave Sandringham in trouble at 87-8 before they reached 143-9 in their 45 overs. Joel Gilmour smashed 93 and shared in an unbeaten partnership of 81 with Bland (34 not out) to reach the victory target.

Lewis Jeavons scored 51 and Matthew Herbert 57no as Snettisham reached 202-8 with Jahy Chima taking 3-35. Gary Raines took 3-30 but 65no from Roshan Samarathunga saw Castle Rising to victory by four wickets with as many balls to spare. Shane Fisher took 4-34 as Denver were bowled for 136. Richard Eke scored 37 and 56no from Matthew Castellan saw Hillington win by seven wickets.

The bottom two met at Northwold where Ash Drohan scored 36 and Jason Plumpton 33 as Northwold reached 170-8. David English took 3-8 in his 10 overs and Daniel Fuller 3-24 as Heacham were bowled for 103.

Only one point separates the top two in Division Two with Gooderstone – a point ahead of Sandringham A who were awarded 18 points because Downham B were unable to raise a team – at the summit after their five-wicket victory over Holt. Mark Spillett scored 45 and Robin Thaxter 51no as Holt reached 140-4. After being reduced to 41-4, Kevin Bandy (46no) and Stephen Carter (49) put on 84 to help Gooderstone to victory.

Castle Acre suffered their first defeat, by 24 runs, against Narborough A. Brothers Matthew (71) and Jonathan Coe (104) put on 184 for the second wicket as Narborough A posted 256-7. Daniel Cross scored 61 and Tom Brown 50 as Acre's innings closed on 232-5. Kevin Fisher took 3-16 to help restrict Fakenham B to 94-9. Ambit Projects man of the match Santosh Bakka scored an unbeaten 37, to go with his 2-11, to see Hospital to victory by five wickets – despite Jack Wells taking 4-28.

Dersingham A and Bircham A are joint Division Three leaders on 83 points with Gayton, who ended Bircham's unbeaten start, just one behind.
