Preparations for next season are well under way at Norfolk CCC after the club held its AGM.
All executive committee members were re-elected for the 2016 season and Chris Brown was retained as captain. That will see Brown lead Norfolk for a fourth consecutive season, looking to build on a seventh-place finish in the Unicorns Minor Counties Championship East Division this year.
The club's annual awards were also given out at the AGM at Manor Park, with seam bowler Adam Todd winning the David & Joyce King Memorial Young Players of the Season award after a debut season which saw him take 18 wickets for 417 runs, finishing with Norfolk's lowest three-day average of 23.16.
Todd also took five wickets in consecutive games, a feat last achieved by Brown in 2006, and attracted interest from Essex CCC.
The Richard Lane Player of the Season award was claimed by batsman Sam Arthurton, who reached 2,000 runs for Norfolk in his 38th innings, to become the second fastest of all-time. He scored 612 runs in six Championship matches.
The Sir David Thorne Bowl, for services to the club, was awarded to club stalwart Mick Emmett.
Meanwhile, Brown is keeping himself busy with his involvement as a spin consultant with the ECB's Elite Spin Bowling Programme, working alongside England bowler James Tredwell when coaching at Trent Bridge recently.
