King's Lynn Town's play-off push could receive an unexpected boost without even kicking a ball.
Southern League Premier Division promotion rivals Redditch United, third, are fearing a points deduction from the FA after fielding suspended duo Jazz Luckie and Jim Mutton – who were sent off during their side's 1-0 loss at Lynn, seventh, on February 6 – against St Neots Town.
The pair's three-match bans were scheduled to start on February 20, when United played Neots, but Redditch claim a problem with the FA website meant they were not aware that the duo's suspension had already started.
