Norwich United return to Plantation Park looking to continue their excellent start to the season, writes Norman Bygrave.
The Planters have been on their travels since beating Haringey Borough 2-1 at the end of August, and they bounced back after a solitary Ryman League Division One North defeat at Witham Town with wins at Cheshunt and Heybridge Swifts before Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Norfolk rivals Dereham Town.
They will be hoping to grab all three points this afternoon against Waltham Abbey – a side that only just avoided relegation last season and come into today's game already in the relegation zone.
Planters manager Steve Eastaugh will be hoping to have Remi Gordon and Ben Jones available after injury. Adam Bennett also returns after being unavailable on Tuesday. Jamie Speller is still ineligible through suspension and it is probably still too early for Joe Jackson, who is still struggling with an injury.
