Three late goals saw Wroxham let what looked like being a very creditable Ryman League North result slip through their fingers in Essex.
The Yachtsmen were holding the high-flying hosts to a stalemate up until the 76th minute when Phil Kelly scrambled Regent in front.
Aaron Condon doubled the lead two minutes later when going through one-on-one and taking his chance, and then completed the win with his second in the 90th minute.
With both Ware and Waltham Abbey winning their matches, Damian Hilton's side are now 10 points adrift of safety. They return to action at Trafford Park on Saturday when 10th-placed Tilbury will be the visitors.
