Former Norwich and Wymondham player Aaron Swanborough has been appointed manager of the Eastern Counties women's team.
Swanborough, who also retains his position as head coach, will be working alongside fellow coaches Ian Milligan and Charl Farquar to develop the game in the region.
'Being appointed the head coach and team manager is an honour and I will do whatever it takes to ensure we continue on this great path that women's rugby is taking,' he said. 'With the team behind this year's set-up and the playing talent that I have seen so far, we are sure to have a great season.'
Swanborough brings years of rugby union experience to the role, having been involved in the sport since a young age, initially as a player at Norwich and Wymondham and more recently in a coaching role at Wymondham Wasps Ladies.
