Wroxham's hopes of a relegation reprieve received a boost as the Yachtsmen drew at Tilbury.
The point means they move off the bottom of the table – a position now occupied by Great Wakering Rovers.
And while that positional change in itself might not guarantee safety from the drop for a third consecutive season, it might help their cause come the end-of-season shake-up, when the league discovers which clubs can come up and which can't.
Tilbury went ahead on 78 minutes, through Reece Conway, but Wroxham salvaged that vital point three minutes from the end of normal time through a Kurt Smith own goal.
Great Wakering were beaten 1-0 at Ware, who are third from the bottom of the table. However, the gap between them and Wroxham is a massive 20 points and, with just three games remaining, the Hertfordshire are safe. Next up for Wroxham is a home game against Ware on Saturday.
