Swardeston continue their defence of the National Club Twenty20 title tomorrow when they host Horsford in the final stage of Norfolk qualification.
The south Norfolk villagers beat Great Witchingham in the opening stage of this year's competition and face the challenge of East Anglian Premier League rivals again tomorrow, looking to move into the regional stage, with Horsford having beaten Vauxhall Mallards.
Mark Thomas's side made two national finals as part of a hugely successful season last year and beat Sandiacre Town in the floodlit final at the 3aaa County Ground in Derbyshire.
They beat Tunbridge Wells by 23 runs in the semi-final and then scored 148-5 in the final against Sandiacre, with Lewis Denmark scoring an unbeaten 69, before dismissing their opponents for 83 inside 17 overs.
Swardeston, who have won the EAPL title five years running, also won the National Club T20 in 2010.
