Great Witchingham skipper Sam Arthurton will have to shrug off a gruelling stint for Norfolk when he leads his side out for their latest East Anglian Premier League match.
Not only did Arthurton score a match-winning century in the dramatic win over Northumberland on Tuesday but he also kept wicket on the final day after John Ewart had sustained a suspected broken finger.
It was an exhausting schedule but the opener should be buzzing after taking a catch and lifting his Championship average back over 50 with his unbeaten 104. The Witches need a win against Burwell tomorrow to stay in touch with the top two after losing a high-scoring game at Swardeston last week.
Peter Thomas' side, who are two points behind Sudbury with five matches to play, visit bottom side Bury St Edmunds while the leaders have a tough game at Copdock. There's an important match near the bottom, with Norwich playing host to Horsford at Ingham, while Vauxhall Mallards are at Cambridge Granta.
