Hal Riley has been chosen as December's North Walsham Chalk Hill Brewery player-of-the-month.
A former youth player at North Walsham, he re-joined the club last summer after two seasons at Holt and also playing in New Zealand.
The powerful 21-year-old centre has already scored six tries in 12 appearances for the Vikings. 'It's been a good move for me,' he said.
'I'm enjoying both the playing and social sides of the club hugely. There's a real mix of characters in the squad and it is great having the opportunity to be teammates with people from other parts of the world.'
Head of Rugby James Brooks praised Riley's contribution so far, adding: 'Hal has a fantastic attitude, is a good team player and has been a great addition to the squad. The lines he runs consistently get us on the front foot and he is outstanding at offloading the ball in the tackle, whilst defensively he is very strong and disciplined.'
