The pressure is off Lowestoft Town this evening when they take on Wingate & Finchley at the Amber Dew Events Stadium this evening...on the pitch at least.

Armani Schaar's first half goal gave the Trawlerboys all three points at Metropolitan Police and the victory means the Blues are now mathematically safe from relegation after Burgess Hill Town's 2-0 loss at Leiston.

Manager Dale Brooks has masterminded the club's bid to stave off relegation but the major battle for the club's future is only just beginning.

After the Blues laid bare the extent of their financial problems it remains to be seen what direction the club takes come the summer but in the short term they need as many fans as possible to attend this evening's game.

The players and Brooks have done their part - now it's the turn of the supporters and club officials to bring in enough money to keep the Blues in business beyond the end of the season.
