The sun was out and so were parkrunners with several runners taking advantage of the conditions at King's Lynn, Lowestoft and Thetford to achieve new personal bests. Mark Armstrong reports
King's Lynn
An impressive 356 parkrunners attended King's Lynn parkrun at the weekend as they were led home by Adam Matthews.
Ryston Runners' Matthews posted a time of 16:39 to come home ahead of Paul Keaney in second, who achieved a new personal best of 17:40. Junior runner Toby Hayton was in third place in 17:44, which was also a new PB.
Sally Lynn Hurst (Renegade Runners) broke the 20-minute barrier to come in as first female in a new PB of 19:54. Elisabeth Clough was second female on her first visit to King's Lynn in 21:16 whilst Rebecca Judge notched up a new PB in third in a time of 21:26.
Oakley Took made his 100th parkrun one to remember by setting a new PB of 21:49 whilst Stephanie Gray celebrated her 200th event in 24:11. Janet Everett notched up her 50th in 39:04.

Lowestoft
Ipswich Harriers runner Sam Stevens was the first runner home at Lowestoft in 17:39.
A field of 283 runners tackled the event on Saturday as Chris Haylock (Lowestoft Road Runners) set a new personal best of 17:54 in second place. Tom Richardson (Sheffield Running Club) was third in 18:17.
Wymondham Running Club's Jo Walmsley set a new PB as first female in 21:29 in her 100th event with Tracy Prewer (Lowestoft Road Runners) having to settle for second place this week in 22:27. Jenny Sheahan was third lady in 22:39 - also a new PB.
Pamela Warne and Adrian Saunders clocked up their 50th parkruns in 30:02 and 20:45 respectively.

Thetford
Kevin Vaughan led home the 265 parkrunners at Thetford in 18:07.
The Thetford AC member was almost a minute ahead of the rest of the field although Simon Smith set a new PB of 19:02 in second place. Sam Thelwell (Norfolk Gazelles AC) was third in 19:30.
Heidi Teixera set a new personal best of 21:44 as first female with Natalie King also setting a new PB in second place (21:56). Eike Hausler (Eastern Veterans AC) was third in 23:39.
Gloria Williams notched up her 150th parkrun in 41:44 whilst John Pink ran his 100th in 38:33. Eddie Theaker and Sarah Horne enjoyed their 50th parkruns in 29:29 and 37:58 respectively.
