King's Lynn team manager Dale Allitt says it's important his side return to winning ways when they host Rye House at the Adrian Flux Arena on Monday night (7.30pm).

After three straight defeats, the Tru Plant Stars find themselves bottom of the Premiership, although they do have meetings in hand.

And while he expects a competitive fixture against an experienced Rockets side, Allitt is hopeful a full-strength Lynn can add three more points to their tally.

He said: 'It goes without saying that we go into Monday's meeting on the back of our most difficult spell of the season but as I have always said, it's how you respond to those sorts of things that matters most.

'We were very disappointed to lose to Somerset in our last home fixture and the result at Poole last Wednesday was also very frustrating as we know we're so much better than that.

'But we had riders missing on both of those occasions so hopefully we can regroup as a 1-7 and get our season back on track.'

The Rockets heads to Norfolk after collecting their second away match point of the season – and also their very first at Swindon in the top flight – after going down by an agonisingly close 48-42 score-line in Wiltshire last Thursday night.

While there has been a change of raceday for Monday's clash, fans are reminded the meeting will not be screened live on TV.

There is a special souvenir raceday programme, limited edition brochure dedicated to Stars skipper Robert Lambert who won silver with Great Britain in the Speedway of Nations, was crowned British champion and secured his place in the World Under-21 Championship series all in the space of seven days.

Fans will also be able to grab a photograph with Lambert and his British Championship trophy between 7pm and 7.15pm upon entry to the stadium.
