Lowestoft Town will be looking to kickstart their season when they entertain St Ives on Tuesday evening at the Amber Dew Events Stadium in the Evo-Stik Premier Division Central (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Trawlerboys slipped to defeat on the opening day of the season at Halesowen Town with former West Bromwich Albion strker Lee Hughes getting a late winner from the penalty spot. But manager Jamie Godbold will have been heartened by his side's performance when only the form of the Halesowen goalkeeper Daniel Platt prevented them from gaining at least a share of the spoils.
St Ives will be looking to build on their 1-0 win at home against Tamworth at the weekend thanks to Munashe Sundire's long range strike. It was a surprise result for the Saints, who were only spared relegation last season due to the restructure of the non-league system.
Meanwhile, Godbold will be without Billy Johnson and Ish Fatadjo, who have both earned moves to Norwich City and Beira Mar respectively.
