The Shannocks moved eight points clear of their nearest rivals in the Premier Division when they recorded a comprehensive 4-1 victory at Mattishall.

Second-placed Cromer had to be content with a 3-3 draw from their visit to Acle, while Blofield were also held at North Walsham.

Joe Kerry scored twice for the Crabs and Stuart Nee was also on target, while Lee Brewer, John Curtis and Lee Bennett scored the goals for Acle.

Dale Wilton and Neil Maguire were the marksmen for North Walsham and Blofield respectively in a hard-fought 1-1 draw.

Brandon joined Blofield on 28 points as they won 3-2 at Norwich Union (Kevin Sobiechowski, John Waites, own goal), while Wroxham Reserves also kept in touch with a comfortable 4-0 home success against bottom team St Andrews (Kieran Patel 2, Kane Taylor, Bradley Hoffman). The Yachtsmen are 12 points behind Sheringham, but they do have four games in hand.

At the other end of the table Attleborough moved out of the bottom two courtesy of a 3-3 draw with Dersingham (Gregory Devlin, Martin Gent, James Bullman).

Hindringham moved seven points clear at top of Division One, even though they were held to a 2-2 home draw by Hempnall, with Mark Betts and Mark King netting for the hosts, and Robert Browne and Paul Franklin replying for the visitors. Near-neighbours Holt missed a chance to close the gap when they went down 3-1 at Gayton. Simon Bush, Nicholas Bunting and Steven Parkes scored for the West Norfolk outfit, with Matthew Sanders scoring for the Owls.

Holt were joined on 26 points by Mundford, who won 3-2 at Aylsham. Jamie McCann and Tom Bryant were on target for the home.

The game of the day was at Watton United, where Long Stratton came out on top in a nine-goal thriller. Paul Folkard led the way for the visitors with a hat-trick while Kelvin Willimott and James Barnes also netted. Damion Rudling and Carl Allibone both scored twice for Watton.

Leading scorers in the top two divisions were Dereham Reserves who hammered bottom club Sprowston Wanderers 6-1 (Stuart MacNab 3, Roberts Simonds 2 and Nathan Ferguson).
