Most of the 1st Division teams were involved in the 1st round of the Norfolk Junior Cup. Unfortunately, most of them could not secure a win and so bow out in the opening round. The exceptions to that were Saham Toney who produced an excellent result in beating North Walsham Town Res. 3-2 at home and North Elmham who won an all League clash with Mulbarton Wanderers 6-2. Hingham Athletic drew 2-2 away at Gimingham Utd. but the referee failed to play extra time which leaves the tie hanging in the air.

The only match in Division 1 ended in a 5-0 away win for Redgrave Rangers at Stoke Ferry to give Redgrave their first win of the season.

Shipdham, the Division 2 leaders, maintained their 100% record with a 5-2 win at Wendling and stay 3 points ahead of Dereham Posties who ran up the highest score of the day in hammering Palgrave Utd. 10-0. Bridgham Utd. move up to 3rd place after a 7-1 home win over Morley Village Res. and are on the same number of points as Attleborough Town A who beat bottom club Necton Res. 6-2. Dickleburgh secured their first win of the season with a 5-3 home victory over Yaxham Res. and Wymondham Town A did likewise, beating Saham Toney Res. 5-0.

The Division 3 leaders Bunwell lost their 100% record in going down to a 4-2 home defeat at the hands of Toftwood Utd. Res., a result which also lifts Toftwood up to 2nd spot. Mattishall A are up to 3rd after inflicting a 3-1 defeat on Rockland Utd. Res. to end their opponents' unbeaten record and Thetford Athletic are also on 6 points after beating Hingham Athletic Res. by the odd goal of three. North Elmham Res. secured their first League win of the season with a 4-1 success at Cherry Tree, Watton Utd. A also recorded their first win in beating Bawdeswell 3-0 and Shipdham Res. also got off the mark with a 1-0 home win over Foulsham Res.

The Division 4 leaders Cockers maintained their 100% record with a 3-2 win at Palgrave Utd. Res. and are 3 points clear of Thurton & Ashby who beat Longham Res. 6-2. Brandon Town A and Bintree drew 2-2 and are in 3rd and 4th places respectively. Beetleywon their first League match for over two seasons in beating Splitz Utd. 6-3 and hopefully will be able to build on this success. Great Cressingham maintained their 100% record with a 7-0 home win over Bunwell Res. and Swanton Morley beat bottom club Garboldisham 9-3.
