Norwich police said they are experiencing problems with their 101 telephone line and have urged members of the public to contact them online or try at a later stage.
In a message on Twitter, police said the line was down due to 'technical difficulties'.
'If you need to contact us for a non-emergency please try again later or contact us via our website.
'We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
'Please note emergency 999 calls are not affected.'
