Council proposes to vary 'the Off-Street Parking Places Order 2012'

The North Norfolk District Council (hereinafter referred to as 'the Council') in accordance with sections 32 and 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 and all other statutory enabling powers, with the consent of the Norfolk County Council in accordance with Section 39(3) of the 1984 Act and after consulting the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that the Council proposes to vary the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) and Civil Enforcement Order 2012, the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No 1) Order 2012, the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.2) Order 2013, the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.3) Order 2014, the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.4) Order 2016, and the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.5) Order 2017 (hereinafter together referred to as 'the Off-Street Parking Places Order 2012').

The effect of the Variation Order will be as follows:-

1. By amending the Schedule of the Off-Street Parking Places Order 2012 by changing the designation and introducing charges to be levied for the use of the High fields Road car park situated on Highfields Road in Fakenham as stated in the schedule available for inspection.

2. By amending the Schedule to the Off-Street Parking Places Order 2012 by varying the extent of the current CPO designation for the Limes Car Park, Fakenham to include 10 bays to the south side of the car park.

3. By amending the Schedule to the Off-Street Parking Places Order 2012 by extending the current coverage of the current CPO to include hard-standing and verges at Fakenham Connect at Oak Street, Fakenham under the designation of 'no permitted parking'.

4. By amending the Off-street Parking Places Order 2012 to permit coach parking at Clink Road Car Park, Sea Palling as stated in the schedule available for inspection.

5. By amending the Schedule to remove the Off-Street Parking Places Order 2012 from Garden Street Car Park Cromer (Budgens) and the former Council Offices car park on New Road, North Walsham.

6. By amending the Off-street Parking Places Order 2012 to include the hard landscaped area and all verges at the Beach Road, West Runton Slipway (down to the Beach).

7. By amending the Off-street Parking places order 2012 to remove the hard landscaped apron in front of North Lodge Park. 8. To hereby give notice that on 24 May 2018, the car parking charge payable in connection with the use of Runton Road Car Park, Cromer will be fixed at £5.00 for the duration of that day only. From 00.01, 25 May 2018 the standard pricing structure will resume.

The above proposed variations to the Off-Street Parking Places Order 2012 shall be made by the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No. 6) Order 2018 (herein referred to as 'the Variation Order').

The following documents, namely:

1) A copy of the Variation Order as drafted,

2) A copy of the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) and Civil Enforcement Order 2012,

3) A copy of the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No 1) Order 2012,

4) A copy of the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.2) Order 2013 5) A copy of the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.3) Order 2014

6) A copy of the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.4) Order 2016

7) A copy of the North Norfolk District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.5) Order 2017

8) A copy statement setting out the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Variation Order, and

9) The Schedule attached to the Variation Order may be inspected until at least 8 May 2018 at the Council's main offices at Holt Road, Cromer, Norfolk, between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive and at the offices at Fakenham Connect, Oak Street, Fakenham, Norfolk, between the hours of 9.00am and 1.00pm, and 2.00pm and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If any person wishes to object to the proposals, the objection, with the grounds for making it, should be made in writing to the individual indicated in the following paragraph not later than 17 April 2018. This Order will come into force on 1 June 2018.
