ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENTION NOT TO PREPARE AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT (REGULATION 5 OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (LAND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT WORKS) REGULATIONS 1999 AS AMENDED BY SI 200/1399, SI 2006/618 AND SI 2017/585) KING'S LYNN INTERNAL DRAINAGE BOARD WOLFERTON PUMPING STATION REPLACEMENT
King's Lynn Internal Drainage Board (`the Board') gives otice that it proposes to carry out improvement works to the Wolferton Pumping Station located near the village of Wolferton, Norfolk, on the Sandringham Estate. The proposed improvement works are to replace the existing pumping station with a new pumping station. The works are being undertaken to support surface water flood risk management in the catchment. The Board considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. As best practice the Board has prepared a number of environmental reports, which can be viewed on request to the Board's Chief Executive (address shown below). Please telephone for an appointment. Any person who wishes to make representation to the Board in relation to the environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, to the address shown below, within 28 days of the date of publication of this notice.
