A team of young people reached great heights as they collectively climbed more than 10,000 metres in a day for a charity Christmas challenge.
About 20 members of the Junior and Senior Ascenders Climbing Clubs at OPEN Youth Trust took part in the fundraiser at the Norwich venue's climbing wall on Saturday.
The team members started at about 10am and completed their quest at about 5.15pm.
To reach their 10,000 metre goal, between them they made more than 830 ascents of the 12 metre climbing wall.
They hope to have raised more than £500 for Open, an organisation which aims to provide opportunities for young people and make a positive difference to their lives.
'It is the young people's way of giving a bit back to Open,' said climbing instructor Dan Jeffrey.
'I am very proud of the young people I work with.
'They are definitely an inspiration.
'Everybody did really well. It was a top performance from everyone.'
The climbers who took part were aged eight to 18 and some of them made more than 100 ascents.
Last year a group of young climbers from Open collectively climbed 5,895 metres, the height of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world.
